If you want to make a change in your life because you feel that your life sucks, congratulations! You woke up from the longest sleep of denial of your life.

I get it. It’s a BIG deal. The feeling of admitting that things aren’t so hot in your life sucks. You’re afraid to be judged by your friends or family. They might even try to assure that you- are- fine.

And you know, very well… you’re not fine.

No matter what they say, I want to assure you this: if you’d thought of doing something, you can make it happen.

Since you’re beginning your journey to self development, I’m not going to talk about setting BIG goals. Instead, I’ll keep it very simple and purposeful.

And this will even those who live a busy and “busy” life.

Expand your knowledge

By learning one new practical thing every day, it helps keep your brain sharp and attentive.

The best part is that you can do this with ease. All you have to do is learn ONE practical new thing and apply it every day.

For example: learning 365 new words can be quite a challenge, right? But if you break it down to as few as learning one new word every day for a year, you will learn 365 words with ease!

To make this even more interesting, you can even turn this idea into a game for yourself. It will also make your life easier AND more interesting at the same time.

Give it a try. You’ll be surprised to find out how easy it actually is.

Improve your health

You think we’ll leave out something related with health? Nope!  It’s as important as completing other tasks on your bucket list. 

Now, you don’t have to jump into the conclusion that you “need to exercise”. Instead, think of some things that you can do to improve your health. 

Once you have it figured out, focus on that single health goal and do it every day.

That’s right. If you feel like you need to eat more vegetables and fruits, include it into your meals every day. Is your sleeping schedule all over the place? Focus on setting a time and stick to it without exception.

Did you know you have full control on whether you want to feel happy?

That sounds pretty crazy, right? After all, it’s pretty hard to feel happy if someone is all up in your face and being rude at the same time.

But here’s the thing. You can control your emotions if you harness the power of gratitude.

Gratitude is focusing your attention on being grateful for the things in your life. When you focus your attention on gratitude, every bad emotion will disappear. That’s how powerful it is.

Once you master this skill, you can live life in full control of your thoughts and emotions in full clarity.

So you see, making a change for yourself isn’t as hard as you think it’d be.

The most important part in this is to have fun! Go out there and get creative with it! But most importantly, don’t put this off for tomorrow.
